The Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, D.D., Bishop of Manchester celebrated the Annual White Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester, New Hampshire, April 24, 2019
The White Mass is a special opportunity to ask God’s blessings for healthcare professionals and to affirm the profound service they give to the sick according to the model of Jesus Christ.
A reception was held immediately following the White Mass downstairs at the Cathedral. During the reception, the NH Guild of Catholic Healthcare Professionals presented the 2019 St. Martin de Porres Award. This is an award given to a Catholic healthcare professional who has exemplified the virtues of Catholic healthcare, including selfless dedication to and compassion for the sick, and the love of God in caring for the sick.
